Dunno what age has to do with cheating (both in games and in real life situations) but I don't care if you want to cheat in your own game cuz I do sometimes in my own games (though usually after I have beaten it or, in a survival game, I've progressed far enough nothing is a challenge and just want to mess around as of that point). I wanted to make a game like RE:Maid where there's an option to input cheat codes to change clothing, etc. But I've googled over and over how to input a cheat code option button on Ren'Py and couldn't find anything. Even searching the forum here reveals nothing for 'code' or 'cheat.' Is it possible to give an option to input cheat codes? I've been forced to write code for my job, and while I have been able to hack up most of our first Ren'Py game, there's something I cannot figure out. I want to make a simple slide show of 10 images. I want the user to be able to click to the next image without any dialogue - just the image. We have 1000+ games listed here with more than 5500 updates. We also provide mods, walkthrough guide and cheats and save files for games made by developers and community which help you to experience the adult games at fullest exten. When first asked to edit a file, the Ren'Py launcher will prompt you to download and install an editor. As this may fail if your Internet connection is unreliable, the editors can be downloaded separately. To install, extract the contents of the editor archive to the Ren'Py directory.
When building Android packages, iOS packages, or web distributions, Ren'Py will prompt you to download RAPT (Ren'Py Android Packaging Tool), Renios (Ren'Py iOS Support), or Renpyweb (Web Platform Support). As these downloads may fail if your Internet connection is unreliable, these packages can be downloaded separately. To install, extract the contents of the archive to the Ren'Py directory. (Place the 'rapt', 'renios', or 'web' directory into the 'renpy-7.3.5' directory.)
We also maintain a complete list of releases.
Ren'Py is a visual novel engine – used by thousands of creators from around the world – that helps you use words, images, and sounds to tell interactive stories that run on computers and mobile devices. These can be both visual novels and life simulation games. The easy to learn script language allows anyone to efficiently write large visual novels, while its Python scripting is enough for complex simulation games.
Ren'Py is open source and free for commercial use.
