Before you go through the door that leads to RAAM make sure you are full on your grenades and you have the torque bow. Then when you start the fight stay at the block of cover it starts you in. Shoot RAAM a few times with the torque bow to do some damage to him. Then you need to get RAAM to walk in front of your cover then take your grenades and throw them at his feet. This should kill him instantly. (Make sure you throw all of them or it wont work).

You'll need two player one player should be equipped with full boomshot and the other player should be equipped with full toruqe bow now when the battle starts hide right behind the barricade to start one play needs to shot RAAM with either the toruqe bow or boomshot the kryll should scatter then while the player that shot the kryll is reloading the other player should fire next and the after that player fires the weapon is reloading the other player should fire again if preformed correctly RAAM should go down rather quickly.

First of all make sure you are somewhere you can jump over a little block. After that make sure the icon for jumping over is on your screen. So now your left trigger up and your right trigger down. To do this you need a torque bow and anotherweapon of your choice as long as its not thelongshot. When you start the fight Stay Put. When you lure the berseker outside, use the hammerof dawn. After you use it you will notice theberseker has turned red. Immediately after this,use a grenade and press B. This will attach thegrenade to the berseker killing him instantly.Note: This is faster and easier if you use it incoop. One guy uses the hammer of dawn and theother one uses the grenade.

When you are going to chainsaw someone to makethem blow up press B then Y and RT then move theleft stick. Do this all at the same time.

Take out a grenade and simply tag the Boomer bypressing B.

By beating the game on hardcore, you can get thesame campaign achievements as you would if youplayed the game on insane.

First hide behind a wall then when you can goaround it press A then quickly press B and holdboth A and B at the same time and run intosomeone and they will explode. They also can'tstop you from chainsawing them unless you getdowned.

To get the achievement of killing three enemies at once, ten times, go to the stage Act 3 - Evolution. Now locate the area of the Immulsion plant where the guy got killed when he fell through the rotted wooden floor.Take along at least one grenade and simply follow the dead guy down the hole or any other hole, if you step in the wrong spot. Run around the cellar until you think you have at least three enemies following you. Tag one with a grenade melee attack.If you die, that's OK, since you restart right at the checkpoint of that room and do it again. Achievement progress should be independent of game progress. If not, reload the checkpoint and do it again.

Wretches are very annoying since they swarm your soldier and kill him nearly instantly on medium and hard. The best way to deal with them is to use a shotgun or the alien repeater, since those weapons let you nail them without the dangerous downtime of the chainsaw.The shotgun is best for the in close situation, since you can skip the left trigger and hip fire the shotgun quickly to catch the wretches as they hop around. Smacking them if they get close is the only way to counter, short of using A to dodge.

Shoot the Longshot, Boomshot, or Torque Bow. When the active reload bar gets to the broad area, press RB + B and immediately fire the weapon. If done correctly, you can keep shooting without reloading. This glitch does not do damage but can be a distraction.

Use the following trick while playing in two player mode and you reach a difficult part with a doorway. Have one player die in the doorway. This will create a block that the Locust cannot get past. They will usually line up behind your dead partner, allowing you a safe zone to easily pick them off. Once it is clear, just revive your partner and move on.

When fighting wretches (small, shrieking enemies that don't use weapons) attack them with melee strikes. The best melee strikes do not come from your grenades and Lancer chainsaw rifle. The chainsaw attack is too slow to combat the wretches when they swarm, so stick to quick-hit melee punches for instant kills.

Unlike some games, you can regain all of your health in Gears of War without needing to find health packs. Just stay behind cover for a few moments and watch as the bright-red gear in the center of the screen fades away. When the gear has comlpetely disappeared, your health will be restored.

In the chapter 2 of the game, you will be swarmed by enemy kryll whenever you are in dark areas. To avoid being attacked, stay in the light areas. When there's no light in sight, locate propane canisters you can blow up to create some flames that will scare off the kryll.

When reloading a weapon, pay attention to the upper-right corner of the screen for the meter that counts down. Press the reload button a second time when the meter's moving bar matches up with the stationary bar. This will give you a much faster reload and put you back in the fight quicker than normal. However, if you do not properly time the second button press your reload will take longer than normal.

To beat the Beserker at the end of act one, dive to the side whenever she charges at you. Run through the doorway to your right and continue to the door at the end of the room and put your back to it. Get the Berserkers' attention by shooting at her or revving the chainsaw. Now dive away at the last moment when she charges. This will cause her to break the door down for you.

When you press RB to reload, there will be a clear bar with a small white segment somewhere along it. It will appear where your bullets used to be. There will also be a smaller white bar moving across the clear bar. As soon as the white bar gets inside the white segment, press RB again. This will reload your weapon much faster, and if timed just perfectly, will give your gun an extra boost in fire power. However, if you do not time it correctly, the clear bar will become red and it will take even longer to reload than if you had not attempted it.

Turn on the game and wait for the 'Gears Of War: Press Start' screen to appear. Do not press Start. Allow the screen to idle for a few of minutes, and a video will begin to play about Emergence Day.

There are thirty hidden Cog Tags scattered throughout the game. They are small and often hard to find, but there is a mark you can look out for that will make finding the Cog Tags easier. Look for large, red Gear logos pasted on the walls. If you find a room with this large Gear logo, examine the room and you are sure to find a Cog Tag somewhere inside.

When an Emergence Hole opens up, toss a grenade into it. This will automatically close the hole, and therefore keep the locusts from coming out.

In Campaign mode, look for the dead soldier symbol (red gear with skull inside) painted on a wall, floor, or other location. This indicates that the Locust have killed some Gear soldiers in the area. Because Gear soldiers wear C.O.G. tags, you should be able to find one nearby.

Fire a Torque Bow arrow into an Emergence Hole. This is somewhat challenging to do, due to the straight line of fire given by the bow. However, if you are close enough to fire while the line of fire is arced, it is possible to make it into the hole. A Torque Arrow stuck in the top of the hole will close it as well.

When it comes time to battle General RAM theirare a few things you should know. First, Waittill the locus move away from him. You couldshoot all day but until they move you wont hurthim. Use the torque bow or a grenade to scare themaway and then blow the hell out of him. Second,if you can make it to the machine gun on theother side of the train car do it. That willscare away the locus and kill him fast. Just stayin the light. Good luck and happy gameing.

To kill General Raam easily and quickly, stay atthe bunker that you get in the start of battle.When General Raam gets there, take off running,but make sure the Kryll are still on him. Go tothe Troika where General Raam came from. Lob agrenade at him, then use the turret to kill him.Do this 3-4 times to win.

Pause gameplay, and at the menu press: A, A, A, B, X, Up, Down, Right. If entered correctly, you'll hear a click sound. Note: If you get shot from everywhere or by cover, you'll health will not drop. Enter the code again to disable its effect.

Complete all acts on Hardcore Difficulty.

Relic Weapons Locations

Dropshot Relic

In Act 2, keep your eye out for a patch of ice while you’re searching for the signal source. The ice has a red gear omen on it, and there’s an opening to its left. Enter it to collect the Dropshot Relic.

Boomshot Relic

In Act 2, head to the North Tower substation in The Valley. There are two generators to the right of it so go between them. You’ll get the Boomshot Relic from the right.

Longshot Relic

During the first Missing Outsiders mission, go to the shacks just outside of The Longshot Relic can be found in the old wooden shacks near New Hope.

Torque Bow Relic

When going to the Abandoned Mine in the South of the Valley during Act 2, stick to the dirt track and you’ll find the weapon next to a wooden support. This is just south-west of the East Comm. Tower.

How to get Terminator

Here’s a quick rundown of how to get Terminator in Gears 5. Actually, it’s not just the Terminator that’s featured in this DLC. If you qualify you’ll also get a Sarah Connor skin, as well as a couple of other bonuses. So you definitely want to be sure you get this, if you’re a fan of the long running series. How do you do it? Pre-order the game, of course. Yes, as is typical of free DLC these days, it’s only free to those who pre-order the game digitally or through retail. Doing so will get you a code which you can then enter to receive the content. If you don’t want to do that though, there’s one more way.

Game Pass, Microsoft’s game subscription service, will also allow players to get the Terminator at no additional charge. Anyone who downloads and plays Gears 5 on an active Game Pass subscription within the first week of release will get the Terminator Dark Fate DLC added for free. This means you need to download and play the game before September 16th to qualify, so make sure you do so if you want the DLC.
